Poll Proves he is the Upwardly-Mobile Female's Star Choice

Nearly 16,000 people were surveyed on www.russellgrant.com in a scientifically conducted YouGov poll between April and June 2003. Here are some of the findings.

"The Young and Trendy" grouping has the highest percentage with 41% avid watchers of Russell and his website. 80% of Russell's fans were below the age of 50.

85% are Female, 29% are from overseas with 17 % being north Americans in the USA and Canada. 71% are British, 73% white with 26% living in the LWT/Carlton and Central/Carlton areas.

Nearly half (46%) have Sky Television; just below half are single with no children (49%) - 63% are in full time jobs with 53% in senior or middle management or in an office/ clerical career.

25% read the Daily Mail or The Sun (tabloids) and 13% The Guardian or The Times (broadsheets) – 35% buy their regional morning or evening newspaper (this includes the Standard)

In summary: the typical Russell Grant Astrology fan is a 25-year-old white British female. She lives in the South East of England and reads the Sun, Daily Mail, Guardian or Times plus her local morning or evening paper. Our Russell fan watches Sky TV as well as terrestrial. She is single with no kids and is fully employed in senior or middle management.
